What is the minimum quality of Stainless Steel should I look for in a kitchen sink?
I was told not to look below a 1810 stainless steel quality, but other rankings I saw something like 304 or S30400. I have no idea what is what. Can someone please clarify? It is for the kitchen and laundry. Thank you very much!
Usually steel sinks Stainless are manufactured with a certain thickness of metal. The higher the number the thicker the metal. A 18-gauge sink resists the damage much better that 20 or 22 gauge sinks, especially if planning to wash your pots in the sink. Kitchen utensils are usually a sink teeth 22 gauge or 20. Also to see how deep the pool is 6 in the deep basin will not allow you to wash more of your deep pots.
