What kind of servo/reciever should I buy for my RC plane?
So I just bought an RC airplane (NitroModels RC Airplane Sports Trainer .46- .60 – 65″ – Scale Nitro Gas Radio Remote Control Airplane) but i went back and realized that I do not have the Radio System needed to operate. I noticed it needs 4 servos and I do not know what kind I need to buy. It also says I need a receiver and I don’t know which to buy. I need to know exactly what parts I need for this radio system to work! Thanks in advance!
Flying a gas-powered model aircraft is not easy. If you do not know what control kit you need, you probably have had little experience of model flying.
If the above is true, then you need to learn to fly before building and flying this plane. It may be dangerous for you to fly it before you know how to control it properly. A club, or a local friend will help you learn on a trainer system, and they will be much better placed to help you chose a radio and servo pack. Usually the best one to choose is the one most other people in your locality use anyway – since they have probably tested things like the availabilty of parts and service where you live….
