Power Swr
Get 2 12 "SWR-1222D subs and Alpine amp, but im not sure what my total power system will be ….?

the problem is … im getting a P600UB head unit Pioneer DEH, 2 12 "Alpine SWR-1222D subs (500RMS each) and probably an Alpine PDX 1.1000.mono block (1000wats). I also already Refrence speakers infinity front (45RMS) and also the rear Refrence (100RMS )..(:: sadface:: I paid both for them and it kindof sorry. imho .)…. Am I supposed to include those in which I calculate the power system? ~ In all I've go through the calculations to ensure there are all compatible with each other and from the looks of what I believe to be patient in need of an alternate high-performance, stack depth, and some new wiring as Sparky said ….. only problem is im not sure what all add when trying to understand the power of the system, so IM not sure how many watts the new alternator will put out. ~ If you have any information on certain high-efficient alternators and batteries deep please include this as well but cannot figure today I total blackout of my system for the alternator.

You want to take your HU RMS will probably be 4 x 25W, 100W, so, your amplifier to 1000 watts. Then you take your total power (1100) and divide by the voltage (14.4) gives you 76.3 amps. Depending on your vehicle you might not need to upgrade your alternator, but I want to make battery level and do the big three. This is the equation for your help, P / E = I, where P is watts, where E is volts and I is amps.
