I have what looks like athletes foot or ringworm on my hands. It’s driving me crazy, and I have no insurance.?
It’s been going on for about 4 months, and I have tried everything I can think of. Tinactin, hydrocortizone cream, scalpacin, lotion, emu oil, everything recommended. I have no money to go to the dermatologist. Any ideas?
It does sound as if you’ve exhausted the over-the-counter antifungal remedies. This may not be fungus. Instead of going to a specialist, I’d suggest going to the nearest large city, and looking into a free clinic. That way you can at least get a doctor’s eyes on it for a minute, so they can tell you what it actually is, and either write you a prescription or at least point you in the right direction.
