2 way Kenwood radio programing?
I just bought 2 Kenwood tk3107 radios. They are 5 watt UHF 400-475mhz. I have not recieved them yet. But when they get here, what will I have to do to set these radios up to communicate as a pair. In other words, how hard is it to program. I also bought a programing cable which should be here soon. The radios are brand new in the box. I paid $110 for both of them. Is that a fair deal?
if you have the cable and the software, programming is simple.
I would suggest that you make paper notes on exactly what you want to put into the radio.
TX freq, RX freq, CTCSS etc.
I always seem to close the program and then think to myself… “I should haqve done this”, so if I make paper notes first, I have the important things covered.
