What is the best way to keep a Li-ion battery for 6 months without using…?
I bought a video camera of Victor(JVS) in a nice deal… but i want to gift it to someone after 6 months on some occasion… therefore i just want to keep it with me unused for 6 months… I am little worried about the battery… should i charge it fully before keeping it or should i discharge it fully before keeping… the camera uses Li-ion battery…. namely BN-VF707
Don’t worry about it…Li-ion batteries have a long shelf life. Sometimes, new electronic equipments sit on the shelf for months before they’re sold. It’s really no different then your situation.
