Wired outdoor thermometer inside?
Back in 1975 I bought a thermometer inside Heathkit / External – AC, LED display, with a long cable leading to an outdoor sensor. Now, after 35 years, the readings become erratic, and it is time to buy something newer. My needs are simple – I do not want to deal with batteries and I want to be able to read it through the play in any lighting conditions. This means power, probe wire, and LED display. But that does not appear to be available at any price. I probably could get a computer or iPhone to do but this seems exaggerated. Does anyone know if is something that can match the technology available in 1975?
If a part number is available, consider replacing the thermistor that is probably the cause of erratic readings.
