really dumb question but would glass make a good heat sink?
really dumb but i was thinking when ever im drinking out of a glass the glass gets very cold very fast so i guess its good a transferring heat so i thought how would it do as a heat sink. the only thing is glass can brake if its Temperature changes quickly.
Not really.
Heat sinks typically need a material that absorb and release heat rapidly.
Metals, being generally tough, and easy to fabricate or shape, along with the heat dynamics, are better than glass (which is usually considered an insulator).
