What is the difference between a ham radio …. a shortwave radio …. and a CB radio?? Are there others?

An amateur radio or amateur radio is another form of radio communication where the radio operator must have a license to transmit on frequencies or bands permission. There is GMRS (General Mobile Radio Service) which is used by authorized individuals and businesses. FRS (Family Radio Service) is a bit like cb which is open to all but the radios use the output power very low. Yes, amateur radio and short wave CW and can not use another code.
