I have a question concerning GPS Units and fishing.?
I have been told that by using a GPS you can get to within a few feet of a fishing spot you were previously at.
I am looking for a inexpensive GPS Unit, handheld, that I can use while fishing.
Can anyone suggest either a model, or a store I can go to that would have the information I am looking for?
Any GPS unit will get you back to the same place you were at if you create a ‘waypoint’ and then navigate back to it at a later date.
If you’re going out on the water I would recommend a very cheap unit that will not make you cry if you get it wet or lose it at the bottom of the lake.
Pretty much all the GPS units these days have the same excellent accuracy and the ability to do what you want to do. The cheapest GPS units right now are about $80 new but you can find even better deals if you shop around online with Amazon or Ebay.
