What GPS is better, the Garmin StreetPilot c330 or i5?
I did buy both the i3 and the C320 which are respectively the same the i5 and the C330. The difference between the higher model numbers is that the i3 and C320 were not built in memory to load all maps, but they flash memory expansion slots and you can get a 1GB microSD for i3 or 1GB SD card for the C320 for about $ 30. If you do not have a computer and can not load maps on the device you I go with the C330 or I5, otherwise save money and buy the c320 or the i3. They are the same elsewhere. Now to your question. The two units to navigate exactly the same thing. The C330 has a nice touchscreen access All menus, while the i5 has a scroll wheel and back button. The scroll wheel can be a little pain, but not big of a deal. The C330 has some additional screens, such as previewing a map, and an odometer, which also indicates how miles you have left on your trip and the avg speed and things like that. If you can afford the higher cost of the C330 I would buy this, has a bigger screen and touch screen is much easier than the scroll wheel. Another difference is that you need to buy a anti-glare screen for the C330, its screen can not be seen well in full sun with polarized sunglasses. The i5 is already screen readable in bright sunlight and glare. You can get anti glare screen Boxwave.com for about $ 15. Or maybe you can find it cheaper elsewhere. I5 can also use two AA NiMH batteries if you do not want to use the car adapter, but the device does recharge the batteries. The C330 has a built-in battery and an adapter for the cigarette lighter, map of the integrated battery charging. I am happy with my i3 is a great device, but I'd rather have the screen Touch and most built in the battery. It is all up to you and how much you want to spend.
