Can i track my stolen/lost phone?
my daughter has an at&t blackjack II and shes not sure if she lost it in the house or someone stole it at school. its a gsm/gprs phone and im wondering how i can maybe track it. would at&t track it for me? and would it cost a lot of money?
Sorry there is no way to track the phone. AT&T will not track it for you. The option that AT&T would suggest would be just to report the phone stolen/lost.
The best thing you can do is just keep calling the cell phone. Hopefully someone will answer. Just ask to either meet them to get the phone back or have it mailed to you. Also, if your daughter recalls where she lost it, go to that place and put up a flyer. Put on it “Lost phone. Call this number (state your number) if found. Reward if found.” Put a picture of what the phone looks like. I have done that before and someone actually had it & returned it back to me. You can also call your local AT&T store to see if anyone turned it in there.
If still you do not find the phone, do report it lost/stolen. You don’t want someone ranking up your phone bill. If you have insurance on your phone, you can get another phone for $50. If no insurance, you’ll have ti pay full price for a new phone or get a used phone or refurbished phone.
