If i buy some walkie talkies from the USA and use them in the UK will they work in the UK (on FRS/GMRS)??
Don’t do it!
FRS/GMRS frequencies are USA only! The UK does not have this service.
You could interfere with police, government, military, etc. and face serious penalties.
The UK uses a service called PMR446, which is similar to FRS in Europe; but uses a different series of frequencies.
What is legal in one nation is not legal in another.
