Please help with a headset problem?
When my girlfriend speaks into her mic, you can hear her and the sound that comes from her computer. You’d probably think that she’s using speakers or her volume is too loud. However, that’s not the case. She’s using headphones and the sound being picked up from the earpiece is louder than her actual voice. Realistically, I doubt it’s an outbound volume problem.
Before assuming it’s a dead headset, I must inform you that she tried this with another one as well. If you have a suggestion, please feel free to respond.

well, if it is not a problem with the headset/microphone itself, then you have problems with your voice/audio setup on your computer.
Goto start, then control panel, then Sounds and Audio Devices (this is what its called on my computer, it may vary as to the name depending… I’ve dealt with computers that have different names for this)
in here (if I understand your problem correctly) you should be able to fix your problem by experimenting with the settings in this, I’m guessing either the Voice or Audio tabs…
