Which Subs should i consider next???
I have two 12″ kicker cvx’s in a pro box wired at 1 ohm on a memphis 1000!! and yes it slaps so hard my back and front windshield flexes. But i’m not shure what to get next cause i started off using 2 12″ cvr’s then upgraded to the cvx’s but i’m either considering 2 15″ cvr’s or 2 15″ L5’s but not shure which ones will get deeper and louder?? and also not 100% sure if my amp will push the L5’s to their limit!! but the l5’s and the cvx’s i have have the same rms rating 750 and max at 1500. now the cvr’s are only 500rms. i’ve had my amp tested it’s pushing about 1800 watts at only half way up!!i have a small import car it’s 4 door but i’m limited on tunk space so the box for the 15″s will be sealed!! i know ported is louder but it seems like the sealed boxes you can feel it in your chest!! plus sealed if better for smaller cars!
go with the L5s, the extra surface area does make a difference
25-500Hz for the CVR’s
18-100Hz for the L5’s
so the L5’s play lower (deeper) and you will feel them more
