How to stop the leaking pipe at the end?
I have a 50 foot flexible hose and a foot 100. I want to put together, but in the middle when I connect it flow like crazy. I received a tip on the expensive end of the faucet, so that does not run at all or very little. The thing is in the middle where they are connected it leaks. How can I solve this problem? I do not think a white ribbon plumber will work. Can I connect them permanently with a single connector? How do I?
You do not say what type of connections are on the pipe. Are you facing garden hose in the U.S.? If yes, then two pipes have garden hose threads (GHT). It is a line that seals on a flat gasket (washer with seal). The first solution is to replace gasket in the socket connection. If this does not solve the problem of examining the gasket face on the female part and the seal face on the male part for any significant pseudo / gouges that could explain the leakage beyond the capacity of the gasket seal. If the connections are too damaged or punctured severely than new gasket does not solve the problem, then it is time to either replace the damaged coupling (or pipe). If the examination of the mating connectors do not match completely, which is perceived by the ability to turn the stem female fitting time you close the connection, you probably have connections that have been put out of round or somewhat flattened. Consider the coupling and see if they can be "Tapped" Back in the round with a few strikes judiscious with a hammer. If this does not solve the problem, then it is time to either replace the damaged coupling (Or pipe). Thread Thread tape or paste should NEVER be used with staright Son as GHT, since it interferes with the proper functioning of the Assembly threaded. If this does not solve the problem, make sure that both pipes have GHT. The visual inspection of the wire size and number of threads (the coarseness wire) should help to differentiate GHT NPT (National conical) Thread commonly used on pipes and NPSM (National Pipe Straight mechanical) over commonly used on industrial pipes. GHT does not connect with either NPT or NPSM. GHT is a coarser thread (less than son per inch, TPI, long). You can also check hose trying not currently connected to the end of the tap, tap.
