Do fire departments accept any type of certification emt?
I want to be a firefighter. I know you must go to the fire and emt courses science but do you have to take them where the fire deparment tells you or can you go around like a local college or college jr?
There are probably a standard state certification for whatever state you reside in both the program and institution you attend is accredited by the State provide this training, you're good to go. But … Always check with the specific department FIRST!
