Transfer of ownership of a dog with a tracking chip?
My sister bought a butterfly a few years ago by one of these stores in the mall (yes, I know it's bad, but that's beside the point). She has to give because of several adverse circumstances, and she does not know how the transfer of ownership with the chip tracking. Should she call the vet? Just in case it gets lost or is injured in some way she wants the right person to be notified. Thank you:)
One of my dogs microchip was the breeder. I called the company miroship and they sent me a form for change of ownership, name and address. There was a fee of $ 15 dollars to change it. It was so long, (Almost 6) I do not remember the name of the company it is with microshipped.
