Outdoor Whip Antenna Ideal for Wall Mounting Applications

(www.GAORFID.com) has announced the release of an outdoor whip antenna which is well designed for optimal radio frequency (RF) reception performance with GAO RFID’s active RFID readers. This antenna is commonly used in applications where an omni-directional RF reception field is required, as tag orientation is unknown, such as fleet management, vehicle yard management and container monitoring.
This outdoor whip antenna, model 304005, is an ideal solution for wall mounting applications. This unit operates at 433MHz and conforms to ETS 300 019 standard. The antenna should be mounted as high as possible and face the tags in its operating environment for optimal performance. It has a 3dBi gain and is shipped with a five meter coax cable terminated with a BNC (M) connector. In addition, encapsulated within a UV resistant plastic case makes it especially suitable for outdoor use.
