Pioneer avic f90bt vs alpine iva w505?
I have an opportunity to buy the avic f90bt for 400 with everything included (box, manual, all cords, blue tooth mic, Gps Antenna) and I have the opportunity to buy the iva w505 with basic stuff (ipod cord and bypass) for 450. What should I do. If I buy the alpine I need a 200 dollar GPS unit to make it run. and I need everything else. However I have heard the alpine is better. What do you guys think. I am leaning towards the pioneer just because I don’t think the alpine is worth the extra money but I don’t mind spending a little more if it is justified. Thanks for all your advice.
For sound reproduction, yes the Alpine will be better, but not by very much. The AVIC F90BT has a much better screen than that of the Alpine, comparison is this, the Alpine screen is a little blurry compaired to the Pioneer screens. I have the F90BT, wonderful unit, and I have seen the W505 in operation as well, screen sucks. If you get the avic, email me and I will let you know what you need to do to do the bypass. I can watch movies while rolling down the highway. It is easy to do.
