Amplifier Relay
Could you please help me?

I am an electronic enthusiasts. It’s my hobby, my problem is:I have a Power Amplifier DYNACORD PS 2000,after 10 minutes of running it with perfect functionality. the power suddenly cuts off, with a sound of click and statics. Then a couple of seconds I restarted it and runs in perfect condition and for a few seconds the power is cut off again. but the sound of static continues. Restart it after a few seconds and it function very well, but after a few seconds the same cycle continues. My hypothesis was, could it be due to overheating because I’ve noticed the fan does not automatically run and you have to move the blades first or a relay switch is the culprit that it send a sound of a click whenever the power is cut off. but continues to sound like “moaning”. Can somebody give me an idea or some place in the web to look for? Thank you very much

The delay is due to heat buildup before the thermal protection switch kicks in (the click), thereby cutting power. It immediately cools down, so restarting it allows it to run again, until it heats up again. The moaning is most likely the fan attempting to run. Sounds like the brushes in the fan motor are shot, replace the fan.
